Jon Bon Jovi has had a crack at Kim Kardashian, slagging her notorious rise to fame (which, ICYMI, largely spawned from starring in a sex tape alongside the artist Ray J).
“What’s going to be in your autobiography? ‘I made a porno and guess what? I got famous'”, the legendary rocker scoffed to Ten‘s Lisa Wilkinson on The Sunday Project.
“Fuck sorry, I’ll pass.”
When quizzed about modern celeb culture, the Bon Jovi frontman also reckons “it’s horrific we live in that world”.
“I can tell you I’ve never given sixty seconds of my life, ever, to one of those ‘Housewives of blah blah’ or Kardashians,” he continues.
“I don’t even know their names. I’ve never watched sixty seconds of their show.”
Doling out some words of advice to the younger generation, the dad rocker adds that the best way to become famous was to do something meaningful, as opposed to starring on reality TV.
“Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play, write,” he says.
“To have a kid tell me: ‘I want to be famous’, I say ‘why?’ fame is a by-product of writing a good song.”
Back in 2015, Jon announced plans to make his own reality show entitled If I Wasn’t a Rock Star, which has yet to see the light of day.
