As Australia’s new touring hip-hop event Jumanji Festival gears up for their first leg in Melbourne today, international act DJ Mustard has pulled out at the last second for reasons unclear.
The hip-hop juggernaut has taken to Twitter to say that while he missed playing in Australia, the “business behind this show wasn’t handled properly in time for me to make it there”.
Sorry Australia I was excited to come to Australia and see everyone in Melbourne and Sydney because it's been a while since my last visit, but unfortunately the business behind this show wasn't handled properly in time for me to make it there. Looking forward to catching you soon

In a statement to Music Feeds, Jumanji Festival organisers say:
“Promoters are disappointed for the fans that DJ Mustard has decided not to travel to Australia and is confused by his comments and decision to not attend. All artists have now arrived in Melbourne and are ready for a great festival this weekend.”
Earlier this week, organisers said DJ Mustard had secured a visa for his scheduled trip to Australia. Today, they posted a strange new video on Facebook, asking the question, “Where’s the mustard?” Check it out below.
Today’s cancellation comes after the festival was criticised for having zero non-males on their lineup.
Jumanji Festival is on today in Melbourne (9th March) and in Sydney on 10th March. Peep the full lineup tomorrow.
