A video released via Justin Timberlake‘s official Instagram account has revealed that the pop superstar is set to bring his The 20/20 Experience world tour to Australia this September, with dates going into October. Timberlake’s imminent tour announcement was confirmed earlier this month.
Amidst flashing images of past highlights from Timberlake’s current world tour, title cards ask, “Guess where #JT2020TOUR is heading Sept/Oct?” before depicting iconic images of Australia — Vegemite, Bondi Beach, Uluru — set to Take Back the Night from The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2.
Timberlake’s last trip Down Under was in 2007 for the hugely successful FutureSex/LoveSounds tour, hitting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. Back in May of 2013, the singer confirmed via his website that the 20/20 Experience world tour would include stops in Australia.
Earlier this month, Ticketek revealed that they would announce five major tours in the coming weeks, sharing a series of silhouettes which were quickly deciphered as Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Robbie Williams, Katy Perry, and Timberlake, with tours for West, Williams, and Perry announced.
