Keen On Heading To Dark Mofo? Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow

Set those alarms because ticket’s to this year’s edition of Dark Mofo will go on sale to to the public tomorrow on Thursday, 3rd June.

At this current stage, the Hobart-based festival will go ahead from June 16-22, whilst proceeding with caution and subject to change. In a statement, organisers have said that they will “continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and restrictions closely, particularly after the lockdown in Melbourne was this morning extended for a further seven days.”

Tickets for Dark Mofo events will go on sale at 12PM. This will include tickets to performances by Thurston Moore, Om, Circuit des Yeux and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.

It will be free to access the majority of this year’s Dark Mofo events, however patrons wanting to attend those free events will need to register for those tickets, which will be allocated via a ballot system.

Dark Mofo’s creative director Leigh Carmichael has noted that the program may be tweaked slightly over the coming days “if COVID-19 restrictions prevent any performers from entering Tasmania from Melbourne.”

Tickets can be purchased via the Dark Mofo official website from 12PM tomorrow.
