In some totally excellent news, Kid Cudi is set to be part of the new Bill & Ted film, due out this August. Who Kid Cudi is set to play hasn’t been unveiled, but apparently this one has been in the works for quite some time.
A Twitter exchange between the rapper and Bill & Ted actor Alex Winter revealed that they’ve been bandying the idea of Cudi joining the cast for five years, the final result being released in August 2020.

The new Bill & Ted film – Bill & Ted Face The Music – sees Winter’s Bill and (everyone’s internet boyfriend) Keanu Reeves’ Ted, now middle aged but still very much bros, on a brand new adventure. Aussie actress Samara Weaving is also on board, portraying Bill’s daughter Thea, while Atypical‘s Brigette Lundy-Paine plays Billie, daughter of Ted.
Yes, they’ve named their daughters after each other.
