Killer Be Killed’s New ‘Curb Crusher’ Video Is Packed With Soundwave Footage

Supergroup Killer Be Killed made their international live debut last month on Australian shores, as part of the lineup for Soundwave 2015. The Justice League of Metal originally went into the festival pledging to film the whole thing and release the footage for free, and now, it seems, they’ve made good on those threats.

Killer Be Killed’s new music video for the song Curb Crusher is choc-full of both live and behind-the-scenes footage from their tour across Australia, including all the windmills, crowd-surfs and circle pits from their festival and Sidewave performances.

For their live debut, Max Cavalera (Soulfly, ex-Sepultura), Troy Sanders (Mastodon) and Greg Puciato (The Dillenger Escape Plan) were joined by Juan Montoya (Monstro, ex-Torche) and Converge’s Ben Koller. Official drummer Dave Elitch was a bit tied up with his other band, Antemasque, and the Curb Crusher clip plays like a black-and-white highlight reel of the group’s Soundwave adventures.

“So….a few weeks ago we took a little trip to Australia, and let’s just say we got a bit of it on film (by a bit we mean every damn second unless we told the dudes to stop),” the band posted on their official Facebook page. “Didn’t want any of you to miss out on our first EVER shows, ya know?”

“So here you go, we’ll just leave this right here. If you were there, thanks, if not, we wish you would have been….there will be a next time….somewhere….”

Curb Crusher is the third official music video from Killer Be Killed’s self-titled debut album, following Wings Of Feather And Wax and Snakes of Jevovah. It was directed by Melbourne photographer Neal Walters.
