His acoustic Australian tour is only three weeks away, and now grunge legend and Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne, aka King Buzzo, has announced an extra Melbourne performance for Saturday, 16th August, after selling out the first.
King Buzzo will move from coast to coast during his ten-date tour, reinterpreting his own music and performing cuts from his recent offering This Machine Kills Artists, in very intimate settings. Watch King Buzzo perform acoustically live on KEXP in the video below, for a sweat, sweat taster.
Buzz recently told Music Feeds that “Melvins operate the way we wish all bands would operate”, and also discussed his forthcoming tour, his new album and the state of the music industry from the comfort of his home in Los Angeles, California.
King Buzzo’s acoustic Australian tour kicks off in Adelaide on 13th August, and will tear across Geelong, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra and Brisbane before wrapping up in Perth on 26th August. Full tour details below.
