King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are back once again today with the announcement of their new album Butterfly 3000.
Making the announcement on social media, the incredibly prolific band revealed that Butterfly 3000 – their eighteenth studio album – will be out next month.
They didn’t reveal too many details, besides the fact that it will have no singles, be “melodic and psychedelic” and arrive on Friday, 11th June.
The announcement of Butterfly 3000 comes just three months after the release of their most recent album L.W., which followed on from 2020’s K.G.
