Chaotic Aussie thrashers King Parrot are celebrating a decade since their formation with a huge Australian tour.
The 13-date run kicks off with a hometown show on Friday, 9th July before continuing along to the rest of the country. The shows follow on from the band’s latest release, last year’s Holed Up in the Lair EP, which marked the first new music from the grind band in three years.
As you might recall, King Parrot were actually supposed to head out on tour to celebrate their 10th anniversary in May of last year, bringing US death metal outfit Exhumed along for the ride.
That obviously didn’t happen due to the pandemic – meaning these shows are the first chance for a lot of Aussie KP fans to see the band in quite some time.
