The list of achievements for King Stingray continue to grow, with the breakthrough act announcing full national tour dates for the early months of 2022.
It’s the first time Australian audiences will be able to see King Stingray fully being able to flex their muscles in this way; previously, the band has only been able to perform along the east coast and up north, though the charm and natural talent driving their music has earned them acclaim from all over.
It’s hard to believe it’s been only a year and some change since the release of King Stingray’s debut single ‘Hey Wanhaka’ – a track that propelled the group to national attention. From there, they’ve continued to build and consistently match each release. The spirited ‘Milkumana’, to the unintentionally apt ‘Get Me Out’.
The 2022 King Stingray tour is set to kick off in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel in February, before making its way through Perth, Sydney, Queensland, Hobart, Adelaide, Canberra and New South Wales into April.
“We’re so excited to rock the nation next year!” says guitarist Roy Kellaway, “We’ve got our power stance engaged, ready to rock the dhukarr! See you all there!”
Tickets are on sale now for the tour through the King Stingray website.
