The Footy Show is back for its 20th year and will be kicking things off in true style with an appearance by the legendary Kiss! The classic rockers, currently in town as they tour Australia with Mötley Crüe, will be appearing on the show and performing two of their time-tested classics.
Described by Blabbermouth as “an Australian sports variety television program covering the professional rugby league”, The Footy Show will no doubt be tapping directly into the Kiss demographic, making for a perfect gee-up for this run of tour dates which kicked off last Thursday in Perth.
Glenn Pallister, executive producer, reckons it all might be too much for one particular member of the panel:
“What an amazing way to kick off our 20th year, with one of the biggest rock bands in the world live in the studio. [The Footy Show host] Fatty [Paul Vautin] is such a Kiss tragic, we may need to have oxygen on standby.”
You will be able to catch the performance along with some hilarious back and forth when the show returns on Thursday, 7th March at 9:45pm (AEDT).
