After a successful launch in 2013, Sydney’s UnFun Festival is back for another year and today has announced its final lineup of artists that each draw influence from and reflect the hardcore, punk and alternative sounds of ’90s and ’00s.
This year’s event is set to be headlined by the long-absent Kisschasy who will be performing their 2007 full-length release, Hymns for the Non Believer, in its entirety. Also announced on today’s lineup is Newcastle five-piece Trophy Eyes, Perth hardcore act Grim Fandango and Mt Gambier crew Sierra, who have just released their latest EP Reality Redefined.
Sydney up-and-comers Dear Seattle and Oslow will also play alongside many more acts. The UnFun Festival will be held at the UTS Underground bar on Saturday, 15th November. Bar facilities and food are available at the venue, although it is an all-ages event.
Festival organisers have also announced they are teaming up with Animal Liberation NSW and Bake Flag, who will have stalls set up on the day, raising awareness for Animal Rights, as well as providing delicious vegan baked goods. Tickets are on sale now, see the full lineup below.
