Geelong’s The Kite Machine have spent much of the recent past providing us with top tier funk, and there doesn’t seem to be any sign of that changing with the trio announcing today a brand new single Charlotte.
Their funk goodness is spread all throughout the track, which, much like their previous efforts, takes part in a fictional universe. This time, the narrative tells of a temptress named Charlotte and her efforts to lead her target astray.
The band have developed a nasty habit of making what the people want. Their 2012 debut EP The Crook and the Skank EP sold out of its limited pressing run and oddamn did their 2015 follow-up EP Lunatics make the people move.
To celebrate the release in style, the band will be making them move once more with a run of shows. Dates below.
