Kyuss Frontman John Garcia Announces 2018 Australian Tour

Former Kyuss frontman John Garcia has announced a 2018 Australian tour, which will see him perform acoustically across the country this April.

The voice of Californian rock outfits like Vista Chino, Unida and more, Garcia is set to perform tracks from across his discography (including his latest solo album The Coyote Who Spoke in Tongues) at some intimate shows in Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, after his former Kyuss bandmates Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork both performed down under in recent years.

“Super stoked to be coming back to Australia, especially with this project,” Garcia says. “Playing all the classics acoustically proves to be really something special, don’t miss out!”

Last year, Brant Bjork told Music Feeds that a Kyuss or Vista Chino reunion is “absolutely possible”, but they’re yet to come to fruition.
