Grammy winning USA trio Lady Antebellum have confirmed that they will return to Australia for a headline tour next March 2015. Already announced as headliners for Queensland’s massive CMC Rocks Festival 2015, the country rock outfit will also play two extra arena shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Following their festival appearance, Lady Antebellum will play Sydney’s QANTAS Credit Union Arena, also known as the Entertainment Centre, on Sunday 15th March and will then make their way to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday 17th March.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2007, Lady Antebellum have become one of contemporary country music’s most successful groups, racking up awards and hit records over the course of five studio albums. They made their first trip to Australia alongside Keith Urban in 2011 and they’ve since followed that up with subsequent headlining solo tours.
This tour will be bandmates Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood’s largest ever, seeing the trio move to Australian arenas for the first time, off the back of their latest record 747, which is out now.
Joining the trio as special guests will be fellow American stars Kristian Bush, who rose to fame as one half of award-winning duo Sugarland, as well as cheeky country music duo Maddie & Tae. See tour dates and ticketing information below.
