Punk stalwart and Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape has announced a pair of Australian headline shows for 2018, when he arrives down under this September to speak at Brisbane’s BIGSOUND conference.
The rocker will perform solo shows in Sydney and Melbourne — supported by PEARS frontman Zach Quinn — off the back of his latest release, 2015’s Stitch Puppy.
Quinn and Cape worked together on Quinn’s solo album for One Week Records, which Quinn remembers as “the most fun I’ve had making a record”.
“The One Week concept only works because Joey has such a good taste and clear vision,” he says.
“There’s nothing more exciting than working with someone from whom there is so much to learn. The Caper is unparalleled.”
