Lana Del Rey is right in the thick of her Australian tour and she’s shared a snippet of a new song.
Del Rey took to Instagram to preview a new song reportedly called ‘Happiness Is A Butterfly’, sharing the lyrics as the caption.
“Happiness is a butterfly / Try to catch it like every night / It escapes from my hands into moonlight. / Every day is a lullaby / I hum it on the phone like every night / and sing it for my babies on the tourlyfe,” she wrote.
Del Rey released her latest album Lust For Life last year. It was closed out by ‘Get Free’ which Radiohead reportedly launched a lawsuit over because of its similarities to ‘Creep’.
She’s since announced that it’s all been dealt with and is once again performing it on tour.
She’s hasn’t performed this new song on tour yet nor has she announced any plans to release a new record soon. We can only hope that the full version of ‘Happiness Is A Butterfly’ isn’t too far off.
