Lana Del Rey Wants Us To Use Witchcraft To Remove Donald Trump From Office

Yesterday, Lana Del Rey teased on her socials that she would be sharing “ingredients” on four different dates over the next few months and now it’s been revealed that it’s part of a witchcraft ritual.

While some fans were hoping she was teasing new music on the dates listed, the dates actually line up with ‘waning crescent ritual day’.

On each of these days, witches around the world will perform a ritual at the stroke of midnight. All you need is, an unflattering picture of Trump, a Tower tarot card, a bit of an orange candle, a pin or small nail, small bowls of both water and salt, a feather, matches, and an ashtray,” according to AV Club.

You then have to recite a banishing ritual which you can find online if you’re really keen to join Lana.

As Pitchfork report, a representative for Lana confirmed that she was promoting this.

On top of this, she also called in for an interview on UK station Radio 1, giving an update on the next record.

She said she’s been writing for the last 15 months continuing she, “started out thinking that the whole record was going to have sort of a, like, a ’50s, ’60s feeling, with some kind of Shangri-La, early Joan Baez influences.”

“As the climate kept on getting more heated politically, I found, like, lyrically everything was just directed towards that, so because of that, the sound just got really updated, and I felt like it was more wanting to, like, talk to the younger side of the audience I have. I guess it’s just a little more socially aware. That’s kind of a global feeling.”

This will be her first record since 2015’s Honeymoon. Last week, she dropped the first single ‘Love’.
