Laneway Festival Adds ‘Stranger Things’ Composers S U R V I V E To 2018 Lineup

Laneway Festival has expanded its 2018 lineup by one, with the addition of Stranger Things synth masters S U R V I V E.

Two members of the Austin group — which consists of Kyle Dixon, Michael Stein, Mark Donica and Adam Jones — are behind the Netflix series’ killer synth-laden soundtrack, and the band’s announcement on the Laneway lineup arrives on the same day as Season Two of the show.

The trip will be S U R V I V E’s first jaunt to Australia, and comes after the group released their second album RR7449 last year, and the Stranger Things Season 2 soundtrack earlier this month.

The group join a Laneway Festival lineup that already boasted the likes of Mac DeMarco, Father John Misty, Amy Shark, Wolf Alice, The Internet and The War On Drugs.

Laneway Festival is set to hit Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Fremantle in February. Catch the full festival lineup below, and all the Laneway sideshows right here.
