UK songstress Laura Marling will release her third album in four years – Once I Was An Eagle – on 28th May.
As Consequence Of Sound reports, Marling is definitely going to give customers a bang for their buck, pumping out 16 tracks for the record – which apparently “echoes the dark themes” of her last release A Creature I Don’t Know.
Once I Was An Eagle was recorded at Three Crows studio in the UK and was produced by Ethan Johns, who has previously worked with the likes of Kings of Leon and Ryan Adams. Apparently, they were only in the studio for 10 days, with Marling recording all of the vocals and acoustic guitars for the tracks in one take. Daaamn.
And, to give fans a taste of her new stuff, Marling is now streaming a new track off the record, which is titled Where Can I Go? You can listen to it at the bottom of the page, below the tracklisting for the album.
