Splendour In The Grass headliners and perennial party-starters LCD Soundsystem have finally announced their 2017 festival sideshows.
James Murphy and co. will perform two headline shows on top of their set at Splendour this July, giving audiences in Sydney and Melbourne their first chance to see the band since 2011’s Big Day Out.
The band allegedly cancelled a planned Australian tour before it was even announced last year, after they reformed for an extensive world tour, which is still continuing.
LCD are currently working on the follow-up to 2010’s This Is Happening, which was originally intended to be their final album. They also debuted a handful of new songs live earlier this month.
