Sydney “trapical” artist LDRU has announced his biggest Aussie tour ever, hitting major cities across the nation this July.
The producer, aka Drew Carmody, will play five dates in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne, supported by Filipino producer, Manila Killa.
LDRU’s single Keeping Score was huge on local radio last year, charting at #22 on the triple j Hottest 100 of 2015 and even scoring a sweet feature in Music Feeds’ own faves list last November.
LDRU broke into the scene with his single The Tropics which saw praise from big-name artists like Skrillex, A-Trak, Diplo and What So Not.
The other half of Carmada has since been approached by the likes of Flume, Miami Horror and BROODS to remix their tracks, and is touted as one of the “next big things” in Aussie electro.
And in honour of his new tour announcement, he’s been given some remix treatment of his own by Sydney mates, The Meeting Tree.
Spin their banging remix of LDRU’s Keeping Score – alongside his official tour deets – below.
UPDATE: Second Sydney and Melbourne shows have been added after sell-outs in both cities. Updated details below!
