Le Butcherettes have announced a one-off Aussie headline show on one of their nights off from touring with At The Drive-In.
The Mexican garage punks will hit the newly resurrected Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney on Saturday, 30th September for a special show as part of the Rolling Stone Live Lodge pop-up (re-settled from its old home at the Newtown Social Club, RIP).
The Teri Gender Bender-led live force that is Le Butcherettes last visited our shores for the final ever Soundwave in 2015, and will also be making their debut at Yours & Owls Festival during their return trip this year.
Their last album was 2015’s A Raw Youth (which was produced by ATDR’s Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and featured both John Frusciante and Iggy Pop) and there are whispers they’ve got a brand new one on the way.
