Watch: Lemmy Kilmister Memorial Service Live Stream — ENDED
The memorial service for departed rock n’ roll legend Lemmy Kilmister will be streamed online as part of a live webcast and Motörhead are urging fans to tune in.
Lemmy’s funeral will take place on Saturday, 9th January at Hollywood’s Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, commencing at 3pm PST (that’s 10am on Sunday, 10th January for those of you operating on AEDT).
“So wherever you are, PLEASE get together and watch the service with fellow Motörheadbangers and friends,” a statement from the band’s management reads. “GO to your favorite bar, or your favorite club, make sure they have access to an internet connection and toast along with us.”
“Or simply invite your pals around and celebrate Lemmy’s life at home.”
“Whatever your venue, and however you can, let’s be sure to gather globally on Saturday 9th [again that’s Sunday 10th for Aussies] and celebrate the life of our dear friend and irreplaceable icon.”
RIP Lem, you legend.
