American ska punks Less Than Jake have announced their triumphant return to Australia for a 25th anniversary tour.
With over 300 releases now under their collective belt, the Gainesville band are heading down under this October for some huge shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney, following the release of their latest EP Sound The Alarm.
“We’ll be celebrating our 25th anniversary in Australia, and while Australian tours are always ragers, we will be bringing our full stage of antics along for the first time,” says Less Than Jake drummer Vinnie Fiorello.
“Add a massive catalog of material to choose from and it’s almost an instant good time. We’re coming to your shores to party, live recklessly, have a few pies, nurse a few hangovers, and make our 25th anniversary tour one to remember (or not remember).”
Less Than Jake were last in Australia in 2015, when they toured the country with their contemporaries Reel Big Fish and local rockers The Bennies.
This time around, they’ll be supported by Aussie quartet Bodyjar, who will be playing their first shows since 2015. Melbourne punks Foxtrot will also support the tour.
