Lil Pump Cancels Australian Tour With FOMO Festival, Following Visa Issues

Rapper Lil Pump has cancelled his planned trip to Australia for FOMO Festival, after failing to obtain a visa to tour the country.

In a statement released on Thursday, FOMO organisers said, “Due to recent arrests and a failure to comply with Australian work visa application requirements, FOMO regret to announce that Lil Pump is not able to perform at FOMO 2019.”

Scottish producer SOPHIE has also cancelled her appearance at FOMO Festival “due to personal reasons”.

Lil Pump was reportedly arrested in Miami last week, after being accused of bringing drugs onboard an airplane. In September this year, the rapper told fans he was going to jail for “a couple months” after violating his probation in California.

FOMO organisers have now added Portland rapper Aminé and Toronto production duo Loud Luxury to their 2019 lineup, but have advised that “due to Lil Pump no longer performing”, the Brisbane edition of FOMO By Night “will not be going ahead”.

The Perth edition of FOMO By Night will also move to a new venue at Metro City, with Carmouflage Rose added to the lineup.

Yesterday, FOMO Festival added four new acts to its 2019 lineup, following a triple j Unearthed competition.
