UPDATE 23/09/16: UK Grime act Stormzy has pulled out of Listen Out and all remaining live shows in 2016, citing reasons out of his control.
ORIGINAL STORY: Just when you thought that the lineup for this year’s Listen Out festival was already bursting at the seams, organisers have found room for more, announcing today that rapper Travis Scott will also be performing at the festival.
No doubt fans of Listen Out will by very well aware of Scott and his rapid rise. Tagged by Kanye for the G.O.O.D Music compilation Cruel Summer, he went on to release a number of EPs and his debut album, 2015’s Rodeo. He’ll be backing that up in the near future with the promised sophomore Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight.
Already the lineup featured Baauer, Anderson.Paak, A$AP Ferg, Stormzy and ya boys RÜFÜS, just to name a few. Promoters Fuzzy seem to be going to an awful fuss for fans this year, decking out new digs for Perth and Brisbane while Melbourne will be kitted out with a new sound system.
