Flume fans who’ve been waiting to hear new music have just hit the flippin’ motherload, with the beloved Sydney producer unleashing a 38-minute mixtape full of fresh sounds.
Dubbed Hi This Is Flume, the Grammy-winning homegrown hero’s new project was created with some of his “favourite artists”, packing collabs with Kučka, JPEGMAFIA, slowthai and more.
It notably features a Flume and Eprom tag-team remix of SOPHIE’s ‘Is It Cold In the Water?’, and has been brought to life with a mesmerising “visualiser” created by artist Jonathan Zawada (watch below).
Flume’s last album, Skin, came out all the way back in 2016 and was a huge success. ICYMI it won a Grammy for Best Electronic Album, and its lead single – ‘Never Be Like You’ – topped 2016’s Triple J’s Hottest 100.
Hi This Is Flume marks our first taste of new music since 2017, when he released a second remix EP of Skin.
You can take it for a spin below… right the hell now!
