Listen: Something With Numbers Return To Your Speakers With ‘We Kill The Weekend’

After taking a cheeky breather, Central Coast rockers Something with Numbers have returned in full glory on their freshest single We Kill The Weekend. Boosted from their forthcoming album, the news comes just days before they begin their slot on this year’s Big Day Out, Sydney.

Going back to 2009, you’d think it impossible that a band receiving as much love from fans and media as Something with Numbers was could lose their steam, but alas, it happened. Following the departure of two members, frontman Jake Grigg called it a day before jetting off to LA where he and The Matches’ Shawn Harris formed Manic.

Fast forward to 2013 and the band are back, in better form than ever with a few extra years of wisdom under their belts – and clearly in the mood to get shit done. Eleven Eleven marks the first full-length from the group since 2008’s Engineering the Soul and sees the boys reunite in the studio with Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels, The Whitlams), who previously took the helm with their 2004 debut Etiquette.

You can check out the new jam below, and what’s even cooler is that you can download it by clicking right here.

We Kill the Weekend will be officially released 18th January, 2013 through Stop Start/EMI
