Sydney punk trio The Dead Love have paid homage to one of their biggest influences, Silverchair, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the seminal Aussie grunge band’s iconic album, Freak Show.
They’ve just shared a ripping cover of the LP’s deep cut ‘Roses’ in honour of their heroes, before jetting off on a 2022 European tour next week supporting mates, Stand Atlantic.
“Ups to the mighty Silverchair on 25 years of Freak Show, an album that’s been hugely influential to all of us in TDL,” the band posted on socials.
“Stoked to pay homage with our favourite deep cut from the record, ‘ROSES’.”
