American rock duo The Black Keys have dropped the first single, Fever, from their highly anticipated eighth studio album, Turn Blue, which was announced only days ago via Mike Tyson’s Twitter account.
Fever is a rockin’ foot-stomper with that classic Black Keys rock’n’roll swagger, but with a slightly psychedelic bent. Turn Blue is currently set for release internationally on 13th May. The album’s official cover art and tracklisting have now also shared by the band. Music Feeds readers can check out all the details below.
On the subject of the meaning behind Turn Blue, a press release from the band’s management posits: “Turn Blue could refer to: A: Suffocation B: Sadness C: Numbness from extreme cold D: A Cleveland late night TV host from the 1960s named Ghoulardi E: All of the above.” We here at Music Feeds are leaning towards option E.
