GEM, an emerging Aussie producer has been lucky enough to jump on a remix with The Soul Movers. Yup, working with Murray Cook’s band, GEM has remixed ‘Hot Sauce’, an already spicy banger.
Freshening up the production, she’s transformed it into a full on disco-house anthem that’d fit into any 70s or 80s dancefloor.
Chatting about her collab with The Soul Movers, GEM said, “To work with such legends is a treat. To be sitting in my little studio room with someone who has sold out Madison Square Garden 12 nights in a row and have him say, ‘Just do whatever you think, GEM’, that was a beautiful show of trust and there is nothing more fulfilling for a producer than creative freedom…
“So I feel really grateful.”
“The Soul Movers are a great blend of many of the styles of music I love and grew up listening to,” she said.
“And Lizzie is a powerhouse vocalist and a top performer! I’m really excited to see how their audience takes to this remix.”
The remix comes with a music video too. It sees Lizzie, Murray, and GEM all share a disco moment together.
