German pop duo Milky Chance have returned with new music, this time hitting a sunny note with ‘Synchonize’.
It’s the first new music from Milky Chance since the release of Trip Tape last year, their collection of covers, remixes and demos that originally soundtracked their Road Tripping Radio series.
‘Synchonize’ is pulsating and rhythmic, a club-primed tune that drops at the best time for the band, as they prepare to re-enter the live touring environment. It’s the type of music that Milky Chance fans will be familiar with and become further endeared by, but for newcomers, this makes a perfect opportunity to jump onboard.
For Milky Chance, ‘Synchronize’ “is about a feeling of perfect synchronization with someone, when it feels like nothing else matters.”

“It’s often just the two of us writing and producing,” says bassist/percussionist Phillipp Dausch.
“We worked with another songwriter and producer duo called DECCO on ‘Colorado,’ and we all had such good chemistry in the studio that we knew we wanted to collaborate with them again on ‘Synchronize’. Music is all about communication and connection, and working with other people put us in touch with parts of ourselves that we’d never really explored before.”
Milky Chance were due to be in Australia as part of this year’s Groovin The Moo tour, but have sadly had to pull out. They will be replaced by Lime Cordiale.
