Australian pop juggernaut Sia has made her return with her latest single ‘Saved My Life’, which was co-written by fellow pop juggernaut Dua Lipa.
The song first premiered as part of Americares’ COVID-19 Is No Joke fundraiser, which saw Sia – face obscured by a light fixture of course – performing it with just her piano.
Not only was the song co-written with Dua Lipa, but it also had writing help from the track’s producer, Greg Kurstin, who has his name on some of the biggest albums of the past decade like Adele’s 25 and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. just to name a few.
The proceeds from ‘Saved My Life’ are set to go to AMERICARES and Core Response.
While Sia has released a string of standalone singles over the past few years, she hasn’t released an album since her 2017 Christmas record Everyday Is Christmas.
Dua Lipa, however, just recently released her second studio album Future Nostalgia, which Music Feeds said “ultimately feels like a tonic for today’s uncertainty.”
