Listen To The New Bad//Dreems Single ‘Morning Rain’

Adelaide rockers Bad//Dreems have shared another taste from their forthcoming Doomsday Ballet, due out October 18 through Farmer & The Owl.

The track, which the band’s Alex Cameron says is inspired by equal parts Wire and James Murphy, is the second single Bad//Dreems have released from Doomsday Ballet, after ‘Double Dreaming’ back in May.

The demo for ‘Morning Rain’ led to Jack Ladder offering his production skills on Doomsday Ballet alongside co-producer Burke Reid. Ladder also plays synth on the song. Recorded in the middle of an Adelaide heatwave at Twin Earth Studio, the track is “a fever dream rant about the end of days, shadowed by a statement of defiance and resilience,” says Cameron.

Bad//Dreems will take to the road from October for a national tour, with support from Cash Savage & The Last Drinks. Check out the video for ‘Morning Rain’ – and tour dates – below.
