Thornhill are kicking down the door of a brand new chapter with the release of their first new music two years, ‘Casanova’.
The band’s new single is full of the chaos fans will love, but there’s a sense of refreshed edge and catharsis that comes with ‘Casanova’ that is impossible to get away from. For Thornhill fans, it’s an exciting time: we’ve got new music to go alongside the band’s upcoming return to live shows at both UNIFY 2022 and the Full Tilt Festival. Thornhill are also set to support In Hearts Wake in the New Year too, so, there’s plenty of Thornhill goodness to look forward to.
But, back to ‘Casanova’. Of their euphoric new track, Thornhill describe it as navigating the ups and downs of falling deep for someone, and falling fast.
“‘Casanova’ is about the extensively taxing experience of falling deeply for someone that you’re too afraid to completely grab onto,” vocalist Jacob Charlton says.
“The kind of situation where you’re almost scared to love them and begin fixating on the little things you dislike about them… in order to keep your distance, so you don’t get hurt or hurt them.”
