Liverpool PCYC: Twisted Sounds Trick or Treat Youth Music Festival in Halloween Attire

Twisted Sounds Trick or Treat youth music festival in Halloween attire Twisted Sounds, Trick or Treat for 2009 continues to rock Liverpool City, with exciting bands and darkwave Halloween dresscode. The youth music festival will take place on Saturday 31 October from 3pm-10:15pm at the Liverpool PCYC, Cartwright Avenue in Miller.

This year features fantastic local bands as well as twisted tattoos, Guitar Hero, sausage sizzle and roaming freaks to set the spooky theme.

Twisted Sounds Trick or Treat has secured a huge line-up of entertainment including MM9, Jericco, Special guests Lord, Fixation, Atlanta Takes State, Dawn of the Ages, Evyntide, Swing from a Streetlight.

Liverpool City Mayor, Wendy Waller said, “Council is proud to support this safe and accessible event for young people.”

Twisted Sounds is geared up to treat the youth of Liverpool City with a variety of music including metal, rock and alternative music for the locals in the 2168 community and surrounding suburbs. The Twisted Sounds festival provides social opportunities for young people and develops a music scene in the area.

“These events provide an opportunity for young people to enjoy local and affordable entertainment in the comfort of their own neighbourhood.

“Twisted Sounds is a unique event providing a foundation for local bands to perform in front of a live audience,” said Mayor Wendy Waller.

Tickets are $10 (all ages) and are available from Anthony’s Music (Liverpool), Moshtix and the venue.

This music event is proudly supported by 2168 Youth, Community 2168, Liverpool PCYC and Liverpool City Council, Domino’s Pizza and Full volume Studios.

Twisted Sounds is funded by 2168 Youth and Community 2168 and the NSW Government supports this project through a grant from the Area Assistant Scheme.
