Looks Like We’re Getting New Blink-182 Music Tomorrow

Everybody’s favourite pop punk Dad and Blink-182 bassist, Mark Hoppus has taken to his beloved socials to let us know we’re getting new Blink music tomorrow – yassss.

Posting on both Instagram and Twitter, Hoppus uploaded a photo of a wall graffitied with the words ‘Blame It On My Youth’ — which we assume is the new track’s title. His caption reads, “Tomorrow. Get your ears pointed at your radio stations, your @spotify, your @applemusic, your @youtube, your what have you.”

The trio have been in the studio, working on what percussion lord, Travis Barker has deemed “experimental” and “one of their most important albums”.

The follow up to their 2016 release — the first with Tom Delonge’s successor Matt Skiba — California has been pretty hyped up so far.

We’ve seen footage of Barker laying down a tasty beat and the new stuff has been called “experimental”, “darker”, and “more aggressive”. Plus Barker told NME the album is, “the closest we’ve come to something like Blink-182 since that album, which is one of my favourite Blink albums by far.”

Yesterday Blink-182 announced a North American tour with Lil Wayne and Neck Deep, naturally. In celebration they gave us something we didn’t know we wanted: a Lil Wayne and Blink mashup. Listen to the ‘What’s My Age Again?’ meet Lil Wayne’s ‘A Milli’ here.

See Hoppus’ post and Barker’s drum line below.
