Louis Tomlinson Is Bringing His World Tour To Australia Next Year

Fresh from announcing his debut album Walls will see a release early next year, Louis Tomlinson has announced Australian dates as part of a world tour, performing a pair of headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne respectively.

Tomlinson will play at the Big Top in Sydney on Saturday, 25th April before taking to Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Monday, 27th April.

The former One Direction vocalist has been signalling his return over the year with a handful of singles, the most recent being last week’s ‘We Made It’. The new track has a decidedly Britpop energy to it, with lyrics that draw on Tomlinson’s nights out on the town early on in One Direction’s career.

“Any time off I had, I’d go to Manchester for nights out with my mates. It made me realise I didn’t live in the real world anymore and I missed it. I loved being normal, reckless and stupid,” commented Tomlinson about the track

“It was the best escape. We’d stay up all night, talking about our dreams and what we thought would happen to us. That age is such an exciting time. You’ve no idea what the future holds, but you have so much potential. Where is my life headed? Who knows?”

Tomlinson’s debut solo albums Walls is scheduled for release on Friday, 31st January 2020.

Tickets go on sale for both shows this Friday, 1st November. There’s a pre-sale for My Live Nation members kicking off 11am Thursday, 31st October.
