In a sad blow to 90’s nostalgics, the ‘I Love The 90’s: The Party Continues’ 2018 Australian tour, featuring Naughty By Nature, Blackstreet, SisQó and Montell Jordan, has been cancelled.
The hip-hop and R&B-flavoured tour of monster hits was supposed to go down in March of next year, but promoters MJR Presents have been forced to pull the plug due to “international scheduling issues”.
“Due to international scheduling issues outside of our control, the ‘I Love The 90’s Tour: The Party Continues’ will no longer be visiting Australia or New Zealand in March 2018,” they wrote in a statement on Facebook, updating their emotional status as “feeling sad”.
“We’re extremely disappointed by this, however negotiations are currently taking place to reschedule the Australian and New Zealand legs of the tour. Refunds will be issued to all current ticketholders via their place of purchase, to ensure the minimum of inconvenience.”
This is very sucky news but hopefully they’ll be able to reschedule the fun for later in the year an we’ll all be boogying on down to ‘Hip Hop Hooray’, ‘No Diggity’, ‘The Thong Song’ & ‘This Is How We Do It’ before we know it.
