Slacker king Mac DeMarco has announced he’s coming to New Zealand early next year, playing at Auckland’s prestigious Town Hall on Wednesday, 8th January 2020 – his first headline show in NZ in four years. The trip is in support of Mac’s fourth album Here Comes the Cowboy back in May, the first on his eponymous new label Mac’s Record Label.
In addition, New Zealand artist Fazerdaze – the nom de plume of multi-instrumental Amelia Murray – will be opening the show.

No official word yet on whether Australian dates will coincide with Mac’s New Zealand jaunt – but keep your eyes peeled, we’ll let you know if/when we hear anything!
