Mallrat will be hitting the road later this year with a run of regional tour dates announced today. The shows will serve as something of a homecoming for Grace Shaw, following months spent performing overseas.
Kicking off on Thursday, 10th November in Darwin, Mallrat will visit Queensland for three shows in Airlie Beach, Cairns, and Townsville. She’s also on the bill for the Spilt Milk festival in Canberra, Ballarat, and the Gold Coast, before wrapping up proceedings with a New Year’s Eve show in Tasmania.
Mallrat – ‘To You’
The tour dates come alongside the release of Shaw’s new music video for ‘To You’. Originally featured on her debut album Butterfly Blue, the clip features visuals shot at Luna Park and SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium.
Mallrat has also announced the single release of her cover of Mazzy Star’s ‘Fade Into You’, which arrives on Friday, 9th September as a bonus track for Butterfly Blue. “I feel very connected to ‘Fade Into You’,” Shaw told Rolling Stone earlier this year. “It feels really nice to sing, and we just recorded it for fun one day.”
