Mariachi El Bronx Announce Surprise Melbourne Cup Show

Mariachi El Bronx have just added another stop to their current Australian tour, which until now had only consisted of a one-off Sydney show and an appearance at The Lost Lands festival.

The mariachi punk band, who’ve been touring the country with Violent Soho under the guise of their hardcore alter egos The Bronx, have announced a surprise headlining appearance in Melbourne to coincide with some big horse race that’s happening down there this week.

Melbourne fans can catch the band playing live on Melbourne Cup Day at Collingwood’s The Gasometer Hotel, supported by their US surf-rock brethren Pounded By The Surf and locals The Tarantinos.
