Mariah Carey Set To Release A Lauryn Hill Collab Today

A couple of days ago we received news that Mariah Carey would be releasing The Rarities a compilation of unreleased tracks and B-sides. As part of the upcoming release, we’re set to get a collab from Carey and no other than Lauryn Hill.

The compilation album is out Friday, 2nd October, just days after her memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey is due out (29th September). It’s also set to include a bunch of other bonuses like never before heard audio from her performance at Tokyo Dome in 1996 as part of her Daydream World Tour.

The release is ALSO set to include a single from Mariah Carey and Lauryn Hill titled ‘Save The Day’. It includes a Hill sample from the Fugees’ ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’.

“I started writing this years ago,” said Mariah Carey on the release.

“We’re all in this together.”

Mariah Carey’s memoir is due Tuesday, 29th September and the compilation album, Friday 2nd October. But the Lauryn Hill collab will be out at 2pm today!
