Marilyn Manson has agreed to surrender to the Los Angeles Police Department, following a New Hampshire arrest warrant. It comes from a 2019 incident where Manson allegedly assaulted a videographer at a concert.

As reported by Los Angeles Times, Manson is facing two misdemeanour counts of simple assault.

Manson’s warrant was issued on the 8th October in 2019 and was made public on the 25th May this year.

The alleged assault cited in the warrant is related to an incident at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on the 18th August in 2019.

Marilyn Manson was performing on the day. A videographer who was filming the concert was reportedly assaulted in the stage pit. The incident was reported the following day but the investigation is reported to have taken months.

It was specified that the assault was not sexual in nature.

Now, a statement released on Friday has heard Gilford Police Chief, Anthony Bean Burpee say that Marilyn Manson will be turning himself in to the LAPD.

In May, the Gilford Police Department said Manson and his legal team, “have been aware of the warrant for some time and no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges.”

The news follows multiple allegations of sexual assault against Manson.
