CONTENT WARNING: The following article discusses sexual assault and abuse
Marilyn Manson has been dropped by his longtime manager Tony Ciulla following allegations of sexual assault and abuse.
There have been numerous allegations rolling out over the last week, which Manson denies.
He’s called the accusations “horrible distortions of reality”.
As reported by Rolling Stone, Ciulla, who had been representing Marilyn Manson for more than 25 years has dropped him as a client.
Many have been quick to note that in that 25 years, Tony Ciulla would have seen plenty of controversies, making the dropping of Manson more significant.
Manson’s ex-fiance, Evan Rachel Wood accused him of abuse via Instagram while sharing the stories of four other alleged victims.
The allegations have seen Marilyn Manson’s record label drop him prior to his manager. And Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland denounce the artist.
Phoebe Bridgers also took to Twitter to share a terrifying story about him.
“I went to Marilyn Manson’s house when I was a teenager with some friends. I was a big fan,” she wrote via Twitter.
“He referred to a room in his house as the “r*pe room”, I thought it was just his horrible frat boy sense of humor. I stopped being a fan.”
“The label knew, management knew, the band knew. Distancing themselves now, pretending to be shocked and horrified is fucking pathetic,” Bridgers wrote in a follow up tweet.

I stand with everyone who came forward.

The statements have allowed for more anecdotes and stories reflecting on Manson’s behaviour.
Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell tweeted in support of the victims and shared her own story.
“I met Marilyn backstage at a festival a few years ago. After his compliments towards my band became more and more hyperbolic I became suspicious of his behaviour,” she wrote.
“I was shocked to look down and see he was filming up my skirt with a GoPro.”
“There were no repercussions for his behaviour, his tour manager simply said ‘he does this kind of thing all the time,'” she said.

Rose McGowan, an ex-fiance of Manson tweeted in support of the victims too. “I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and other brave women who have come forward,” she wrote.
“It takes years to recover from abuse and I send them strength on their journey to recovery. Let the truth be revealed. Let the healing begin.”
In a video accompanying the tweet, McGowan refers to Marilyn Manson’s team, including Interscope Records and Sony, calling them accomplices.
The Cult of Hollywood, fame & the music industry must be stopped from protecting predators and selling their sickness to the world. Their sickness has a farther reach than a nuclear bomb. When those at the top help monsters for profit they hurt us all. pic.twitter.com/udhxygWhSy

His ex-wife Dita Von Teese also released a statement.
“Please know that the details made public do not match my personal experience during our 7 years together as a couple,” she said.
“Had they, I would have not married him in December 2005. I left 12 months later due to infidelity and drug abuse.”
“Abuse of any kind has no place in any relationship. I urge those of you have incurred abuse to take steps to heal and the strength to fully realise yourself.”
