Maynard James Keenan Publicly Begs Tool Bandmates To Finish The Album

Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan has publicly begged for his bandmates to finish the Tool album, echoing the sentiments of all their fans.

As Blabbermouth report, Keenan was playing Northern Invasion festival in the US when he announced on stage that he wants his bandmates to finish recording their parts so that he can get in the studio and get started on his vocals.

“Eventually you wonderful people are going to run out of fucking patience,” he told the crowd.

“So I beg you, Danny [Carey], Adam [Jones], and Justin [Chancellor], please finish your parts so I can finish mine.”

The trio have been in the studio working on the record but it’s coming together very slowly.

Just recently the boys revealed that every song on the album will be more than 10 minutes long. They also said that the drum parts have already been tracked while the rest should come together over the next few months.

It’s been 12 years since their last album. Fans still have no idea when the band will finish the album and it seems like Keenan doesn’t either.

At least we’re not alone.
