Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj got involved in a beef earlier this year, which Megan has addressed on her new single “Rattle”, a track part of her freshly released album ‘Megan’.
Megan seems to respond to Minaj on ‘Rattle’ by using “Ain’t got no tea on me, this hoe think she TMZ,” at the top of the track and using it throughout. She is currently on her first headlining ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour.
Megan Thee Stallion- ‘Rattle’
The fans are yet to decide, who the fingers are pointed at. Some think it is pointed towards her potential best friend Kelsey Nicole, as the lyrics seem quite relevant to her, but Minaj also fits equally in the lyrics as they had a little issue earlier this year, after Megan released ‘Hiss’. She can be heard rapping the following in that track “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” which is directly pointed toward Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty, who was found guilty of first-degree attempted rape of a young girl of 16 year old.
Minaj did not take that very well and she released “Big Foot,” which was to mock an incident where Megan was shot in the foot by a musician Tory Lanez who went through imprisonment.
Megan rapped the following “I wanted everybody right here with me, but it was my fault being too friendly,” she raps. “I was thinking everything’s all good, but the whole time you were my enemy / Only time y’all n—s in the agreement is when all y’all tryna go against me / Only time y’all weak hoes link up is when another bitch tryna get rid of me.”
