Megan Washington has announced three free pop-up shows taking place this weekend to promote the pop performer’s long-awaited second album There There, out today. Washington revealed Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney to be the lucky cities via a few cheeky Facebook posts.
“Hey so Brisbane, I’m doing a pop up solo performance tomorrow in the Queen Street Mall at 7pm. Come along if you enjoy pop-ups, Brisbane or me,” she wrote yesterday.
The short run of shows begins tonight with Washington performing at Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall from 7pm. Saturday sees the My Heart Is A Wheel singer appear in Fed Square, Melbourne for a midday show at 1pm, finishing things up Sunday in Sydney with another 1pm performance at Westfield Pitt Street.
The Brisbane musician recently wrapped up a national tour and was also added to this year’s Falls Festival bill after the festival made a surprise second lineup announcement.
