Naarm/Melbourne-based 19-year-old rapper J Verse has just unveiled his rhythmically-charged new single ‘Get Up’. Produced by Kuda alongside the artist himself, ‘Get Up’ blends hip-hop, R&B and Afrobeat influences with charismatic bars and an infectious spirit.
“‘Get Up’ is a bouncy track that I made to get people standing up, whether it’s in the club, at a show or even a house party there’s always a couple of people sitting around so I made this song for the pretty girls and the guys with too much pride that sit in the corner of the room instead of getting up and dancing,” J Verse explained in a press statement.

“‘Get Up’ also features my story and how you gotta have your own style to be fly and take over the game, not only within the music industry but to be that person that gets people up and involved with big positive energy when you walk in the room,” he continued.
Born in Dubai, raised by an American mother and Lebanese father, the now Australia-based J Verse has quickly captivated global audiences, notching up 334k + followers and 6.4 million likes on TikTok.
